A safe spot – open to a Southerly swell, but never more than a big chop. OK for a quick dip before dinner at one of the local La Perouse fish shops. A bit too busy on weekends and public holidays for my liking. Nice views out to sea and of Bare Island. Its actually part of the Botany Bay national park although the only wildlife you are likely to see is of the two legged variety or the snake show which is located near the entrance to the beach. Facilities are very ordinary and need an upgrade.
